Today in church I was holding my 6 year old angel. Her uncombed head lying on my shoulder. She started to softly sing with the choir this song, the Cherubic Hymn. But it was not quite like that because she was singing in the tongue of angels (or maybe it was greek).

The words of the Cherubic Hymn are as follows:

"We, who mystically represent the Cherubim,
And chant the thrice-holy hymn to the Life-giving Trinity,
Let us set aside the cares of life
That we may receive the King of all,
Who comes invisibly escorted by the Divine Hosts."
