I am going to come out of denial to update the blog. First the good news. Pearl got sick a week before Christmas. This was the full blown stomach bug. We watched her for signs that trouble but she pulled through great. This was a great relief for us. Unfortunately, a couple of days later (on the Wednesday before the Christmas)Nika got the same bug. She spent one night in the pokey and was out and well in time for Christmas. Today Nika got sick again. We think it is just a bug but she is at the pokey again tonight with Jennifer. We have had a long stretch of good health and it is hard to go back to our old stomping grounds.
